Rules and Expectations – Recovered Connections

Your home shouldn’t add to the burden. At Sober Living North Texas, we believe people heal best in environments that feel familiar, comfortable, and respectful, especially during early sobriety. Our homes in Frisco, McKinney, and across North Dallas are designed to feel like real homes, not facilities, with quality furnishings, modern amenities, and private, welcoming spaces. Just as important, each home is grounded in clear structure, accountability, and recovery-focused guidelines that support stability and growth. Comfort and discipline aren’t opposites here. They work together to help residents rebuild with dignity.

Community Standards & Expectations

Our sober living homes operate within a structured, recovery-oriented framework that promotes safety, accountability, and long-term stability. These community standards help create an environment where residents can focus on recovery, personal responsibility, and rebuilding daily life.

Residents are expected to:

  • Maintain a substance-free lifestyle, including abstinence from alcohol, illicit drugs, and non-approved substances
  • Follow house rules, curfews, and routines that support consistency and structure
  • Participate in regular recovery activities, including meetings and outside support systems
  • Comply with random drug and alcohol screening to ensure a safe living environment
  • Respect the safety, boundaries, and privacy of fellow residents and staff
  • Take responsibility for personal conduct, including respectful behavior and conflict resolution
  • Maintain cleanliness and shared responsibility in common areas and personal living spaces
  • Follow established guidelines related to visitors, overnight passes, and time away from the home
  • Attend mandatory house meetings and participate in the community as expected
  • Be accountable for personal belongings, financial obligations, and property care

These standards are not intended to be restrictive but to provide the structure and accountability necessary for successful sober living. Full house guidelines are reviewed during the admissions and orientation process to ensure clarity and alignment before move-in.
