Life in Our Men’s Sober Living Homes

You’re not checking into a treatment center. You’re moving into a structured recovery home designed for men who have completed detox or residential treatment.

Our homes serve men ready to live substance-free, rebuild their lives with support, and transition back to independence through daily accountability.

Your Daily Life

Work or school schedules are fully supported. All our homes are job-friendly. Many residents work throughout McKinney, Frisco, and Dallas while living with us.

Regular attendance at 12-step meetings is required. We support AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and other evidence-based programs. These meetings become your support network and accountability system.

Weekly house meetings bring residents together to handle chores, resolve issues, and support each other’s progress. This builds the community atmosphere that makes our homes work.

Structure That Works

Yes, we have curfews. Yes, we conduct random drug and alcohol testing. Yes, we maintain clear expectations about behavior and responsibility.
This structure isn’t punishment. It’s what keeps you safe in early sobriety when your decision-making is still rebuilding its foundation.

The brotherhood that develops naturally becomes your strongest asset. The guys in your house become your support system, accountability partners, and often your closest friends.

Why Men-Only Sober Living Works

Men struggle in silence. Society teaches men to push through pain, avoid admitting weakness, and handle problems alone.

But in early recovery, isolation becomes one of the biggest threats to staying sober.

Space for Honesty

A men-only environment creates space for honesty without pressure to impress anyone. You can talk about what you’re actually going through without filters.

This authenticity becomes possible when you’re surrounded by other men who understand the specific challenges of male addiction and recovery.

Brotherhood Develops Naturally

The guys around you become accountability partners who know when you’re struggling before you say a word. They become friends who check in after a rough day at work. They become voices of encouragement when cravings hit hard.

You watch men who are six months ahead of you handling situations you’re facing now. You see that your current challenges become manageable over time and with practice.

Soon, you’ll be that example for someone who moves in after you.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between a sober living home and a halfway house?

Halfway houses are often court-mandated or government-run, with limited privacy and structure. Our sober living homes offer a higher standard of care, community, and independence, making them ideal for men serious about long-term recovery. We offer step-down recovery housing to help residents ease into independent living.

How long can I stay in a sober living facility?

Most residents stay 6 months to a year. That gives you enough time to build routines, strengthen your recovery goals, and transition into sustained sobriety.

What if I relapse?

Relapse doesn’t automatically mean removal; it requires an honest conversation and reassessment. In some cases, returning to treatment is appropriate. In others, you may stay with increased accountability if you’re honest and recommit to recovery.

What are the sober living house rules like?

The rules are transparent and fair, designed to support your safety and success: maintain a substance-free environment, attend meetings, complete your tasks, respect your roommates, and stay honest.

Do you accept people on probation or parole?

We evaluate each situation individually. Legal status matters less than your genuine commitment to recovery. Call us to discuss your circumstances, and we’ll give you an honest assessment.

Can I have visitors?

Visitor access is limited to protect everyone’s recovery environment. Overnight guests are typically not allowed. These policies maintain the safe, recovery-focused atmosphere that makes our homes effective.
